Where Do The Children Play; Just Say Who; Love Of A Woman; Skylarking; Mammie Blue; Please Don't Go // Every Tongue Shall Tell; Something's On My Mind; See A Man's Face; Don't Cry; I'll Be Gone; Got To Be Sure
Original Jamaican issue in split stereo. The first pressing appeared on the black and yellow label, and was subsequently repressed on the red/green/cream label in the same sleeve. Notice that the front of the sleeve has the title printed in yellow, while on the back all the text is printed in black (sleeve variation #1). The United Printers' UP logo is included in the lower left corner. ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))
This was Horace Andy's debut album at Studio One and includes the first three singles he recorded there: Got To Be Sure (1970), See A Man's Face (1971) and Every Tongue Shall Tell (1972). The title track was originally included on the JAMAICA TODAY compilation in 1971. Mammie Blue and Something On My Mind were subsequently issued on singles following the success of the album. One of my all-time favourite LPs.
