STUDIO PRESENTS JENNIFER LARA1 Studio One SO LP 0138
This superb vocal outing from one of Jamaica's most underrated singers - I can't believe this is her only solo album - was originally released on a red & yellow Studio One label in 1981. My copy is so badly warped that I have frequently used it as a reference disc to test the ability of turntables to play Studio One vinyl (very few have passed the test...).
Studio One CD reissue with 6 extra tracks: Consider Me, I Am In Love, I Need You Always, Hold Me Baby, Where Have All The Good Men Gone and Suki Yaki. Slightly remixed (the synthesiser overdubs are replaced with authentic sax, and the dub version of Where Have All The Good Men Gone is included rather than the straight vocal). Excellent value from Studio One - extra tracks, excellent sound quality, and we even get sleeve notes from Norma Dodd...

The vinyl version of the CD reissue with 10 tracks (omitting Where Have All The Good Men Gone and Suki Yaki). This is a very clean pressing with excellent sound quality, which makes a very welcome replacement for the original warped vinyl.
