Jahovia; Hang On Natty (Get In The Groove); Change Your Ways (What Kind Of World); Give A Hand (Give Give Love); Come On Home (Queen Of The Minstrel) // A House Is Not A Home; Live Loving (Going Home); Love Gonna Pack Up; Jah Almighty (True Experience); Jah Jah Lead Us (Mr Bassie)

Original Jamaican issue. Some tracks are in split stereo (with the left channel favouring the vocal), while others are in conventional stereo. The original rhythms are identified in brackets. One voice dominates on most tracks, with some backing vocals or double tracking on others. The vocals are slightly muffled in comparison with other editions. The sleeve is designed by G. Gayle and printed in Jamaica by Speed-O-Graphic Printers Limited. ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))

LIVE LOVING was the first of the Studio One 'do-over' albums (utilising existing rhythm tracks), and is generally considered to be the precursor of the 'dancehall' genre. Sugar Minott was allowed his pick of rhythms from the Brentford Road vaults, and he certainly picked some of the best. Note that there are 4 different mixes of the album, which is complicated by the fact that two of the mixes have the same matrix number.

Jahovia; Hang On Natty; Change Your Ways; Give A Hand; Come On Home // A House Is Not A Home; Live Loving; Love Gonna Pack Up; Jah Almighty; Jah Jah Lead Us*

UK issue from Peckings in split stereo (the right channel favours the vocal). The Peckings Studio 1 Record Shop, London address appears on the rear of the sleeve and on the labels. The laminated sleeve is printed in the UK by Senol Printing Ltd. ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))

The Peckings edition has the same matrix number as the Jamaican issue, but is a different pressing. The difference can be recognised by a previous matrix number on Side A that has been scratched out. Also, the vocals are less clear and slightly buried in the mix. Note that the two photos of Sugar Minott on the rear of the sleeve have been transposed. *Track B5 is wrongly listed on the sleeve and label as Never Give Up.

US remix in stereo with three extra tracks, Jah A Love You, Wrong Doers (from MORE SUGAR) and Jah Children (unique to this release). ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))

Clean pressing, but the sound quality is a little inconsistent on some tracks. The track listing on the sleeve is completely wrong, but correct on the labels. The catalogue number on the labels is given as PSOL-100.
