Studio One SOL 9018
matrix: SOL 9018 A (R) F/W N

My Eyes (John Holt); Still Waters Run Deep (Jerry & Brentford All Stars); He Don't Love You (Larry Williams); Fever (Horace Andy); Reasons In The Sky (Alton Ellis); Psychedelic Rock (Sound Dimension) // Honey Come Back (Jerry Jones); Get You Off My Mind (Freedom Singers); Got To Be Sure (Horace Andy); I'll Be Waiting (Alton Ellis); Credit Squeeze (Brentford All Stars); No Baptism (Larry Marshall)

Released in Jamaica (in split stereo) on the Coxsone label and later repressed on the Studio 1 red/green/cream label. ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))

The catalogue number and the Willesden, London address on the rear of the sleeve suggests that this album might have been intended for release as part of the UK series of Studio One LPs on the iconic hanging microphone label, but it was only issued in Jamaica (see also JAMAICA ALL STARS VOL.2, which shares the same catalogue number). The majority of the tracks were originally released on 7" singles in Jamaica and the UK between 1968 and 1972 (the alternative takes included here are in split stereo), but He Don't Love You, Get You Off My Mind and No Baptism can only be found on this LP.
