Moving Away; You're No Good; Live Good; You're On My Mind; Thinking; Without Love; Tomorrow; Leave Me Crying; Artibella; The Train Is Coming; Danger Zone; Won't You Come Home; Oh Babe; I'm A Fool; Lonely Teardrops; Whiney Whiney

CD bonus track: Won't You Come Home (extended version)

Exemplary compilation of classic Ken Boothe hits based loosely on the two vinyl issues (but omitting Puppet On A String, Give Me The Rights and When I Fall In Love). Extra tracks include ska belter You’re No Good (aka Crying Over You), Leave Me Crying (previously unreleased according to the sleeve notes, but actually issued as There You Go With A Broken Heart), Artibella (with Ken backing Stranger Cole’s lead vocal), Won’t You Come Home (the extended version previously unreleased), and, a surprise rarity, I’m A Fool (originally issued as a single on the Supreme label and featuring a scorching sax solo by Roland Alphonso). The accompanying booklet includes interviews with Ken Boothe and Coxsone Dodd and comes complete with an informative song by song commentary by Chuck Foster. Sound quality is excellent throughout.

Thinking; Tomorrow; Live Good; You're On My Mind; Moving Away; When I Fall In Love // The Train Is Coming; Puppet On A String; Oh Babe; Whiney Whiney; Lonely Tear Drops; Crying Over You

As far as I know this is the original issue, although the tracks listed on the sleeve do not match the tracks on the label and on vinyl. Crying Over You is also known as You're No Good.

A MAN & HIS HITS was Ken Boothe's third album for Studio One, following MR ROCK STEADY in 1967 and MORE OF KEN BOOTHE in 1969. ((Click sleeve to enlarge.))

Thinking; Tomorrow; Live Good; You're On My Mind; Moving Away; When I Fall In Love // The Train Is Coming; Puppet On A String; Oh Babe; Whiney Whiney; Lonely Tear Drops; Crying Over You

The original pressing (and US repress) can more usually be found in this alternative sleeve. However, once again the tracks listed on the sleeve do not match the tracks on the label and vinyl.

Thinking; Tomorrow; Live Good; You're On My Mind; Moving Away; Without Love // The Train Is Coming; Danger Zone; Oh Babe; Lonely Tear Drops; Crying Over You; Give Me The Rights

US remix with overdubs, mono. This time the tracks listed on the sleeve do match the label and vinyl, and include the elusive Danger Zone and Without Love.

Also released on Buddah SO 1102 in 1976.
